Bachelor’s background: Engineering, physical sciences, or life sciences (Physics, Chemistry acceptable).
Math & core subjects: Bachelor's-level math—incl. 2–3 semesters of calculus + 1 of differential equations—must be completed before MS core courses. Students missing these must take prerequisites (won’t count toward degree credit).
Bachelor’s GPA: Competitive applicants usually have > 3.0/4.0 (minimum 2.75 to graduate).
