Applicants need at least a 2.1 honours degree (~60 % or equivalent) from a recognized university. Acceptable backgrounds: Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Medicine, Pharmacy. Strong academic performance in core life‑science subjects such as genetics, cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, plus research skills. Relevant lab project work or research experience is a plus. If the degree is a 2.2 (Lower Second Class, ~55 %), applicants should have exceptional performance in relevant subjects and research to be considered.
