Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering fields) required.
Minimum GPA: 3.0 / 4.0; competitive applicants typically have 3.5+
Also evaluate “advanced GPA” (upper-division technical courses) and “major GPA” (mechanics, math, physics) based on WES/UC conversion .
Prerequisites & Background: Strong foundation in math, physics, mechanical systems.
Research experience is a big plus — include any published papers or projects, preferably with reference letters .
Course work evaluation ensures readiness for graduate-level engineering.
